This page is designed to show all the
frequencies that are available in the 40Mhz band for use in ground/surface
vehicles and their usage within the club. This list is only to be taken as a
guide as it's very difficult to keep up to date but it is useful at shows and
events as we can see at a glance who can run with what and when. It is
important to use the correct frequencies as you will not be allowed to run a
model at a public event which does not use 40Mhz! If a model tank suffers
from interference it is annoying at the worse but if a plane or fast moving
car went out of control the consequences don't bear thinking about. It's not
a bad idea to have a practice golf ball on the end of your aerial as in the
picture below, this hopefully will prevent you poking someone's eye out! Any

bottom of the page. As can be seen there are large gaps in the frequency
band so if you intend to buy a new radio set try and specify a frequency
from these gaps.
