An early start for all the gang,
the UKTC tables were well supported form both the North and South (“Loose lips”
Cusworth was a little nervous, mumbling something about Humber Bridge), and I
will take this opportunity to thank all for attending and putting on a good show
(not that I expected any less). The tanks went down well with everyone except
the marshals, I’ll hold my hands up to that one
L.
The show covered all things military including traders in reference books,
memorabilia, deactivated weapons, uniforms, Action Figures and Tanks, I don’t
just mean Armortek (who made us most welcome as usual cheers Mark and Gill), but
real tanks you could pick up a Scorpion tank for £9,500+VAT if that took your
fancyJ.
Crowd figures were somewhere around 5,000 punters so we were kept pretty busy
throughout the day, and running was a little difficult. We also met up with Dan
from
www.forgottensoldier.co.uk who has or will introduce himself to the gang at
Chatham Militaria Fair.
